Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Hillmar Industries Ltd. in Tilbury Industrial Park. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble hydraulic and electrical systems, following detailed instructions and drawings
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards
  • Operate computer systems to track schedules and update manufacturing status
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to resolve any issues
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical/hydraulic assembly and/or metal fabrication
  • Strong understanding of mathematics and ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 6:30AM to 3:00PM Monday to Thursday and 6:30AM to 2:10PM on Fridays. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to machinery and equipment.
