Job Overview:

The role involves supporting the Quality Assurance framework aimed at delivering flawless solutions to clients.

A hands-on approach is essential for the implementation and upkeep of the Quality Assurance system.

Participation in internal audits according to the audit schedule and re-certification audits for ISO 14001 is required.

Collaboration with the company’s quality system is crucial to standardize all quality-related activities.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Forms including Standard Operating Procedures for Quality Assurance.

Ensuring adherence to company QA standards among employees is a key responsibility.

Contributions to operational excellence initiatives such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), product quality, safety, usability, and cost efficiency are expected.

Conducting root cause analysis is a vital part of the role.

Management of non-conforming materials and oversight of rejected product handling is necessary.

Recording and reporting on Quality Loss metrics is part of the job.

Efforts to minimize scrap levels and prepare all products in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are essential.

First-off and in-process frequency checks, including final checks at all stages of production, must be conducted.

Quality assurance of finished products, including traceability, is required.

Required Qualifications:

A Degree or Diploma in Engineering is preferred, particularly in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, though other disciplines may be considered.

At least 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role is necessary.

Capability to develop, document, and implement Quality Assurance Systems and Procedures is essential.

Familiarity with AIAG Core tools (such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, PFMEA, etc.) is required.

Understanding of OEE and TPM metrics is important.

Strong communication skills to effectively train employees on quality program standards are necessary.

Availability for day shifts and occasional off-shift QA training sessions is expected.

Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, Outlook) is required.
