Quality Assurance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team at pt Health. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of medical reports and assessments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review medical reports for continuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling, grammar, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve consensus opinions and facilitate interdisciplinary cooperation.
  • Correct errors in reports and tracking systems to ensure accurate working records.
  • Complete clinical intake on new referrals for Catastrophic Impairment Determinations.
Report Process Coordination:
  • Track and interact with referral sources to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Assist in scheduling and report coordination to meet deadlines.
  • Review reports for quality and provide feedback to assessors as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of reports.
Qualifications:
  • Regulated health professional with at least 3 years' experience in the insurance industry.
  • Action-oriented, highly organized, results-driven, and independent problem solver.
  • Detailed knowledge of current and prior auto insurance legislation, arbitration, and associated legal decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and solid command of the English language.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Flexible and team-oriented.
  • C-CAT Certification or strong working knowledge of the AMA Guides 4th and 6th editions an asset.
  • French/English fluency is strongly preferred.
