The primary role of the Retail Account Representative is to manage all facets of the assigned Big Box Retail Store accounts. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, a strong customer service orientation, and exceptional organizational skills. The selected individual must demonstrate the capacity to work effectively both in a collaborative team environment and independently with minimal supervision.

Performance Requirements:

  • Serve as the primary contact for designated stores
  • Manage order entry and follow-up processes

  • Maintain extensive product knowledge across all lines
  • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Engage in upselling and cross-selling
  • Provide training and coaching to store Customer Service Representatives
  • Follow up on quotes, inquiries, and resolve complaints
  • Execute merchandising plans as directed
  • Conduct store visits for high-level discussions, training sessions, and coaching
  • Distribute samples, pricing information, and other program materials

Standards of Performance:

  • Experience in the Building Materials industry or relevant Sales/Customer Service education
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for all organizational levels
  • Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm

Work Conditions:

  • Competitive base salary with bonus potential
  • Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday
