About the Role
We seek a distinguished mid-career/senior scholar with a proven track record of research in performance and technology. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the possibilities, practices, and implications of emerging technologies and evolving conceptions of theatre and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research in performance and technology, with a focus on emerging technologies and their impact on theatre and performance.
- Teach and mentor students in the Centre's undergraduate and graduate programs, fostering a culture of academic excellence and inclusivity.
- Contribute to the Centre's vibrant community of scholars, engaging in collaborative research and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in a relevant field, with a strong record of research and teaching experience. A commitment to anti-racist and equity-based research and pedagogy is essential, as is the ability to bring contemporary critical methodologies, theory, and practice to bear on performance and technology.
