Job Summary

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality rehabilitation care to patients with stroke and neurological conditions. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy and physiotherapy programs to patients with stroke and neurological conditions
  • Assist with the implementation of passive and active range of motion programs, functional mobility retraining, and other exercise programs
  • Work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment to achieve patient-centered outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring patients
Requirements
  • Current diploma in Physiotherapy Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant or dual OTA/PTA diploma from a recognized program
  • Knowledge of safety culture in a healthcare setting and compliance with OHSA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of stroke and neurological conditions and their consequences
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in French
  • Clinical experience in treating adult patients with stroke or other neurological conditions
