About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at COBS Bread. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and sweet goods according to recipes and customer orders
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Train and supervise bakery staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand
  • Ensure the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate bakery equipment and machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • College diploma or equivalent in baking or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
