At Danaco Inc, we are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Standards Safety Authority (TSSA) Certification.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in custom fabrication, factory assembly, and working with cast iron and other metals.
  • Knowledge of soldering machines and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
