About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bakery Labourer to join our team at Del's Pastry Limited. As a Bakery Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of high-quality baked goods and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of food safety and handling skills to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
  • Production Assistance: Assist in the manual packing of goods into bags and boxes or other containers, as well as feeding and unloading processing machines.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects and assist in the process control and machine operation.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work Environment

As a Bakery Labourer, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Available for shift or on-call work.
