The Retail Operations Leader is responsible for the comprehensive management and success of the Cari store. Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass sales targets and performance metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Sales Density and Comparative Revenue Growth.
  • Analyze KPIs and leverage insights to develop and implement action plans that enhance store performance.
  • Build strategic partnerships to ensure the store is well-resourced to meet and exceed performance goals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects Canadian Warmth, ensuring a consistently outstanding guest experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and the use of company tools.
  • Foster a culture of clienteling, encouraging team members to engage meaningfully with customers.
  • Represent Cari in the community by establishing connections with local businesses and participating in events.
  • Ensure that visual merchandising is executed to the highest standards, reflecting a luxury lifestyle brand.
  • Address customer concerns with a solutions-oriented approach, enhancing the overall guest experience.
  • Prioritize talent development through ongoing training and education for the entire team.
  • Promote an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
  • Implement and monitor corporate initiatives and strategies effectively.
  • Mentor and develop Assistant Managers to enhance their performance and prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Encourage and coach team members on effective selling techniques to improve overall performance.
  • Maintain a positive employee experience and drive engagement within the team.
  • Foster an open-door policy that encourages feedback and communication.
  • Identify, attract, and retain top talent consistently.
  • Create effective schedules that prioritize customer service and optimize productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to operational standards, including stockroom management and cleanliness.
  • Educate the team on budget management and store-controlled spending.
  • Utilize strategic tools for inventory management and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain store standards.
  • Monitor inventory metrics and proactively address planning needs.
  • Lead health and safety meetings in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory and cash management to minimize loss.
  • Oversee the timely processing of merchandise requests and shipments.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Experience with luxury lifestyle brands in high-traffic locations.
  • Strong operational management skills, including payroll and inventory oversight.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop retail leaders.
  • Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) and expense management.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of retail metrics.
  • Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
