Job Title: Dishwasher

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at The Fort Pub & Grill. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored.
  • Scour pots and pans to remove any food residue and stains.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including workstations, cupboards, and storage areas.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and hygienic.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Work Environment:

The Fort Pub & Grill is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Dishwasher, you will work in a team-oriented setting, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
