About the Role

As a Branch Manager at Scotiabank, you will be responsible for driving the success of our branch by meeting financial objectives related to profitable growth and retention of our personal and business portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to build and strengthen customer relationships through financial advice
  • Assist in building and strengthening customer relationships through coaching, training, and observation
  • Coach your team to success, both individually and for the branch
  • Manage and minimize risk exposure for the Bank
  • Oversee the implementation of Bank policies, practices, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Branch Manager is essential
  • Experience as a people manager and ability to engage your team
  • Experience in personal and small business banking
  • Solid sales management experience and ability to market Scotiabank
  • Ability to build strong relationships focused on providing a great client experience and growing relationships with existing customers
  • Licence to sell mutual funds
  • Completed CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
  • Completed educational requirements for Branch Compliance Officer
