Position Overview

Trilink Logistics Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to oversee our transportation operations. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient and safe delivery of goods while managing a team of drivers.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the trucking industry.
Work Environment
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include managing dispatching and traffic control.
  • Willingness to relocate is essential.
  • Experience in the oilfield construction sector is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain production and operational reports.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers and projects.
  • Conduct training sessions or arrange for driver training.
  • Dispatch drivers and monitor their routes for efficiency.
  • Operate and monitor signal and track switch control panels.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Recommend personnel actions and manage repair and rental coordination.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 truck drivers.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Transportation Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Work Conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure is essential.
