We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Valbella Gourmet Foods. As a key member of our retail or wholesale team, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats to meet the high standards of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Grind meats and make special sausages
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads. Our butcher shop is a physically demanding workplace, but we offer a competitive health care plan and a permanent work term.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Health care plan
- Permanent work term
- 40 hours per week
