Cashier Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Hamilton Antique Mall.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a retail environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point of sale system.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
