In this role, you will be integral to the delivery of services, ensuring adherence to Fluor's stringent safety and quality standards while achieving project milestones related to cost and schedule. You may have the opportunity to engage in significant PCM projects, fostering a dynamic environment for professional growth and development.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Engineers are vital members of multidisciplinary teams, tasked with planning and executing work that demands sound technical judgment in project management. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting essential project engineering tasks, including progress monitoring, procedure preparation, and documentation of communications and meetings.
- Coordinating with technical disciplines, vendors, and licensors to ensure cohesive and comprehensive designs that fulfill project specifications and contractual commitments.
- Assisting in the enforcement and implementation of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) initiatives.
- Reviewing project staffing needs and collaborating with functional organization managers and subcontractors for effective resource allocation.
- Supporting the development and coordination of comprehensive project plans and schedules, while tracking activities, progress, and milestones.
- Assisting in the creation and management of project effort hours, cost estimates, and budgets, while monitoring performance against these metrics.
- Facilitating the preparation, delivery, and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages.
- Performing additional duties as required.
This position is designed to enhance your project management knowledge and experience, supported by Fluor University Courses and knowledge management communities aimed at improving project execution.
