Padda & Son Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and address any issues promptly.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- License: Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
- Skills: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
- Permanent Employment: A stable and secure work environment.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
