Job Title: Application Architect

At Sun Life Financial, we're seeking a highly skilled Application Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying innovative technology solutions that drive business outcomes and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop large-scale, industry-leading technology solutions that meet business and client needs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
  3. Apply industry-leading engineering skills, tools, and practices to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and lead change initiatives across the organization.
  5. Lead code reviews, approve enterprise features, and validate vulnerability fixes.
  6. Mentor and develop other engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in software development, system administration, and engineering.
  2. Deep knowledge of performance testing, coding best practices, and load and performance testing.
  3. Proficient in multiple software development and deployment methodologies, processes, and DevOps/DevSecOps principles.
  4. Strong understanding of application security and security best practices.
  5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
What We Offer:

At Sun Life Financial, we offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $180,000, as well as a range of benefits and incentives. We're committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment where our employees can thrive and grow.
