American Iron & Metal is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at AIM Recycling Dartmouth. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal products to our commercial clients and other AIM sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and deliver metal products using AIM assets;
  • Secure loads and ensure they are properly tarped;
  • Perform daily inspections and maintain equipment in good working condition;
  • Keep accurate records and reports;
  • Work safely and follow all laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Class 1 licence required;
  • Good driving abstract;
  • Minimum two years of experience;
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:

  • Full-time and permanent position;
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 48 hours;
  • Group health benefits after three months;
  • Retirement plan offered after six months.
