Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential assistance to clients in their residences. This role involves delivering personal care and support tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Work Environment

The position is set in a non-smoking environment, primarily within the client's home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks
  • Encourage and assist in regular physical activities, such as walking
  • Provide assistance with feeding when necessary
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and nutritious meals
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals
  • Cook meals according to dietary requirements
