Remediation Specialist

Job Summary

On Side Restoration is seeking a highly skilled Remediation Specialist to join our team in Medicine Hat. As a Remediation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients and workers by performing remediation services and removing potential dangers from work sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough site assessments to identify asbestos and mould contamination
• Develop and implement remediation plans to ensure safe and effective removal of contaminated materials
• Collaborate with our team to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on remediation procedures and best practices

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean criminal record
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Asbestos remediation ticket
• Background in demolition or construction
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
