Telemonitoring Supervisor

At the University Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telemonitoring Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare technology program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our telemonitoring services.
Job Summary:The Telemonitoring Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our telemonitoring program. This includes managing patient flow, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures, and providing leadership and guidance to our team of patient observation technicians.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the telemonitoring program
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and guidance to patient observation technicians
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient workflows
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate when necessary
- Address issues or conflicts that arise
- Manage daily staffing and ensure safe patient assignments
- Provide direct patient monitoring as needed
- Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
- Member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, Registered Practical Nurse or healthcare provider background preferred
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Client service-oriented
- Proficient use of Microsoft 365
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
