About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at 10060862 Manitoba Inc. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, advising consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, and ensuring their satisfaction with the final product.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physical stamina.
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
