Job Summary

Rising Cool Services Inc is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Equipment Operation: Work with various cleaning equipment, including carpet cleaning machines, polishing machines, steam cleaners, and upholstery cleaning equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and engage in physically demanding activities, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, and reliability.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
