Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at Lifetime Design and Fabrication. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal components and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine materials required for projects
  • Interpret engineering drawings and instructions to plan methods and sequences of operation
  • Lay out reference points and patterns for metal cutting
  • Plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal efficiently
  • Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
  • Weld or bolt sections together
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines
  • Construct patterns and templates
  • Install fabricated components in final products
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • On-site work only, with no option for remote work
