Job Summary

Murata Power Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our product development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and integrating digital hardware and software into cutting-edge power conversion products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop digital hardware and software for power supply products, ensuring technical integrity and reliability.
  • Embedded Control Expertise: Develop and implement embedded control and power management functionality for power supply products, based on customer and marketing specifications.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor junior engineers in developing various products, ensuring adherence to corporate engineering procedures and ISO9001 standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure product validation and customer satisfaction.
  • Research and Development: Research and evaluate new technologies to stay up-to-date with innovations and trends in embedded design.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in designing and developing digital hardware and software for power conversion products.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using MathCAD, PSpice, SImplis, or other design software tools, as well as comprehensive knowledge of high-frequency power conversion topologies and methodologies.
  • Additional Requirements: Experience in general-purpose uC/digital signal controller/DSP/SOC embedded control design, analog/digital/mixed-signal/instrumentation/signal path analysis & design, and electronic packaging.
