Job Summary

Mircom Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Electronics Test Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Test Specialist, you will be responsible for testing and repairing electronic devices and assemblies, providing technical support for production lines, and leading the testing and troubleshooting of Mircom products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing and Repairing: Test and repair electronic devices and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for production lines, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Leadership: Lead the testing and troubleshooting of Mircom products, using a variety of test equipment such as oscilloscopes and test fixtures.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training new employees on all aspects of testing and repair.
  • Teamwork: Work in a team environment to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements and Skills
  • Education: Post-secondary education in electronics.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of practical work experience in the testing and repairing of electronic assemblies.
  • Skills: Proven ability to read and understand schematics, surface mount soldering skills, basic MS Suite and computer literacy, ability to understand both written/verbal instructions, strong written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with Automated Test programs such as JTAG or Labview.
