At Ortho NDG, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our orthodontic care team, you will be responsible for conducting initial dental assessments, consulting with dentists on patient care, and supervising dental assistants in their health care functions. Your expertise will also include taking dental impressions, instructing patients on oral hygiene, and performing restorative and orthodontic procedures under the direction of a dentist. Additionally, you will design bridgework, fit dentures, and provide appliances, as well as sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment. To be successful in this role, you will require a strong educational background, preferably in a college or CEGEP setting, and relevant experience in the field. Certification as a Dental Hygienist by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body is also essential. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for oral health, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. The work term is permanent, and the work language is bilingual. The hours of work are 25 hours bi-weekly.
