Nurse Practitioner

This is a dynamic nursing position on the General Surgery Unit, requiring a professional nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to person-and family-centered care, prioritize safety, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance worker and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide complete nursing care to patients on the General Surgery Unit.
- Partner with the team to promote and support person-and family-centered care.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance worker and patient safety.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Current BLS certification for health care providers from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Consistent demonstration of Central Health's corporate values: Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence (ICARE).
- Experience in surgical unit nursing.
- Current PALS certification for health care providers from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
