Viking Inn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 people, and up to 10 people in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and responding to customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
  • Merchandising and Sales: Authorize the return of merchandise, order merchandise, and prepare reports on sales volumes and merchandising matters.
  • Human Resources: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, and authorize payments by cheque.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
