About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Software Development Team Lead to oversee the execution of engineering strategies and implement strategic initiatives created by senior leadership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software developers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and meeting strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pull and create reports necessary to track strategic goal accomplishment and provide insights to senior leadership
  • Communicate and embody the company culture and mission, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Lead and mentor the team on performance, production, and day-to-day tasks, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Apply Lean/Agile values and principles to a software delivery team, ensuring efficient and effective project management
  • Develop and refine best practices and processes to guide teams through Agile methodology, promoting continuous improvement and innovation
  • Make critical process improvement recommendations and think strategically, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Support the intake and prioritization process for technology work requests, ensuring timely and effective delivery of projects
  • Assist teams in capturing and breaking down delivery of more complex requests that require coordination between teams, promoting collaboration and teamwork
  • Verify application results by conducting system audits of implemented technologies, ensuring quality and accuracy
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in software development, engineering, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in programming in Cocoa, Objective C, C#, HTML,.NET, PHP, Java, or Progress
  • 3 years of experience in software testing and design
  • 3 years of experience in a product engineering role, such as Software Engineer, Product Owner, or Business Analyst
  • 3 years of experience in management, leadership, and administration
  • 3 years of experience using work item tracking tools (Team Foundation Server, Jira, etc.)
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Project management knowledge
  • Proficient technical knowledge
  • Programming language knowledge
