Lorven Technologies is seeking a Senior Risk Management Specialist for a long-term engagement. Below are the detailed requirements.

Position: Senior Risk Management Specialist

Experience Required: 8+ years

Role Overview:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a Risk Management role or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in either Safran or Arm is essential.
  • Experience in the Construction or Civil Engineering sector is required.
  • Strong background in Project Controls, including cost estimation and scheduling.
  • Capability to utilize Monte Carlo simulation techniques to recommend effective mitigation strategies and ensure adherence to recovery plans.
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management methodologies and tools, along with knowledge across key functional areas such as Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Procurement.
  • Responsible for managing program and project risks and opportunities for designated bundles and work packages through Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis.
  • Develop and implement a risk management framework (including policy, strategy, and plan), and organize risk management resources with support from leadership.
  • Facilitate Risk Assessment Workshops with project teams and program stakeholders.
  • Lead the identification and definition of risks and opportunities, assess potential impacts, and formulate effective risk mitigation strategies to minimize cost and schedule disruptions.
  • Oversee the assessment, evaluation, prioritization, and ongoing updates of risks for all bundles and work packages.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation actions to prevent risk occurrences.
  • Conduct regular risk reviews to identify, document, and agree on risks with project teams and program stakeholders.
  • Review the costs associated with mitigation actions, ensuring accurate budget tracking and evaluation of risks to maintain appropriate contingency reserves.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports for risk data analysis.
  • A postgraduate diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
