We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Painter to join our team at Weston M.B Collision Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining your workspace.
  • Repair and Refinish Body Surfaces: Use your expertise to repair and refinish body surfaces, including filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Prepare Surfaces for Painting: Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Apply Primers and Paints: Apply primers and paints to surfaces, using your knowledge of color matching and blending.
  • Operate Equipment Safely: Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, following safety protocols.
  • Select Appropriate Paints: Select the right paints and mix them to achieve the desired color and finish.
Work Environment

As an Automotive Body Painter at Weston M.B Collision Limited, you will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina. You will be standing for extended periods and performing tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: English or French is the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
