Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QE Manager to lead our Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics. As a key member of our team, you will apply your extensive knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments and drive quality and defect prevention/early defect detection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans for ecosystem/program/large projects, maximizing test coverage and using business analysis techniques to optimize testing activities.
  • Lead technical test efforts, coach junior resources, and manage project test activities, aligning to RBC Quality Engineering practices.
  • Partner across IT and with assigned business lines to plan functional and non-functional testing activities, managing project resources and vendor coordination.
  • Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners, resolving conflicts/issues and escalating others as appropriate.
  • Provide coaching to team members on QE, Agile, DevOps, and applicable RBC processes, practices, and tools, supporting Performance Management processes by providing feedback on resources.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with defining Test strategy and test approach for small and medium size projects in Agile and Non-agile projects.
  • Experience in test case design at different levels (component/service, integration, end-to-end/user scenarios) or non-functional testing (depending on role).
  • Strong understanding of testing frameworks & methodologies (Agile Management Framework & Iterative Waterfall) and best practices.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed or mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).
  • Very good communication skills; ability to focus and prioritize and solve complex technical problems.
