The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services at Barburrito Lloydminister. This position involves overseeing food preparation and service, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
This role is set in a fast-paced environment, which may include:
- Fast food outlets
- Restaurants
- Rural settings
- Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Train new employees on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure food quality and service meet established standards.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
Physical RequirementsThe role requires:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
