As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will analytically supervise our coffee manufacturing process and spearhead Manufacturing CAPEX initiatives.

You will lead and manage Manufacturing CAPEX projects while assisting Production Departments in troubleshooting existing equipment and processes. Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager, you will collaborate closely with the three Production Departments (Maintenance, Roasting, and Packaging). Your responsibilities include:
- Leading Manufacturing CAPEX projects (new production equipment or systems) in accordance with KHC Engineering Project Management guidelines.
- Coordinating internal teams and external vendors/partners involved in specific Manufacturing CAPEX projects.
- Managing Manufacturing CAPEX projects regarding activities, budget, and timelines.
- Assisting Production Departments in Operations to analyze emerging issues and systematically design effective solutions.
- Contributing to the growth and development of the Engineering Department through internal Continuous Improvement and Standardization initiatives.
- Participating in the formulation of KHC Operations CAPEX plans and projects for future years.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Engineering (B. Eng.) – preferred fields include Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Chemical, or Industrial.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Engineering roles.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with a strong proficiency in PC applications (MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Project Management experience and/or training and/or certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with MS Project is a plus.
- Experience with 2D CAD (AutoCAD) is beneficial.
- Previous experience in the Food & Beverage industry is an asset.
