About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our team at IBM Computing. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-quality iOS applications using native iOS Development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development: Design and develop high-quality iOS applications using native iOS Development, applying knowledge of MVVM and Clean architecture to ensure scalable and maintainable code.
  2. Code Refactoring: Refactor code to keep up to date with the latest technologies and best practices, ensuring that our applications remain efficient and effective.
  3. Technical Expertise: Proficient in SwiftUI, Combine, and Dependency Injection, with a strong understanding of MVVM and Clean architecture.
  4. Collaboration: Work on large codebases with attention to detail and adherence to best practices, reviewing code and mentoring junior developers to ensure knowledge sharing and growth.
  5. Problem-Solving: Debug complex problems in large codebases and provide solutions, developing unit tests and ensuring proper testing of code.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience with native iOS Development.
  2. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of MVVM and Clean architecture, user interface frameworks (SwiftUI and UIKit), and excellent development skills in Swift, Combine, and Dependency Injection.
  3. Collaboration: Experience working on large codebases, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  4. Testing: Experience with unit and UI testing, and proficiency in Git for version control.
  5. CI/CD Pipeline: Understanding of the concept of the CI/CD pipeline.
Additional Requirements
  1. Location: Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
  2. Export Regulations: This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions. If you are a Foreign National from any of the sanctioned countries, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
