Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic I is a key member of our production team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and plant equipment using technical manuals and best practices.
  • Inspect and test equipment to diagnose faults and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in emergency response teams as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our equipment and systems to provide expert support and guidance to the production team.

Qualifications

  • 433 A Millwright/Trade certification
