Job Summary
Sander Geophysics Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cessna Grand Caravan Captain to join our team. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, ensuring the well-being of our crew and passengers, and contributing to the success of our airborne survey projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Cessna Grand Caravan, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and post-flight reports, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in monitoring onboard geophysical equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and maintenance.
- Liaise with foreign aviation authorities, as required, to ensure compliance with local regulations and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the planned route, aerodromes, and survey navigation equipment, ensuring that all necessary preparations are made for each flight.
- Verify that all necessary safety equipment, including emergency, survival, and safety gear, is installed and functioning properly.
Qualifications and Experience
- A valid commercial pilot's license with a group 1 instrument rating.
- A minimum of 1,000 total hours of flight experience.
- A valid passport or the ability to obtain one for global travel.
- Willingness to travel to our global survey sites.
- Low-level survey flying experience is an asset.
- International flying experience is an asset.
- Experience on Cessna Grand Caravans is highly desirable.
- Additional languages are an asset.
