Coast Mountains School District 82 is a diverse and inclusive learning community that serves a student population of approximately 4,100 students in nineteen schools. We are seeking a qualified District Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate and experience teaching students at all grade levels. They will also have a working knowledge of the learning standards, curricular competencies, and core competencies within the revised BC Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with academic, social, and emotional learning difficulties
- Work as part of a team to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Relate well with students, parents, and staff members
- Committed to following the goals and strategies outlined in the school and district framework for enhanced learning
We offer a competitive salary as per the collective agreement, with a current salary grid of $62,291 - $112,645 (based on 1.00 FTE). We also offer relocation allowances for teachers from other areas, recruitment and retention allowances, and isolation allowances for our remote communities.
We provide benefits as per the collective agreement, including the option to enroll in medical, dental, extended health, and group life insurance.
