Experience: Completion of secondary school diploma

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop cost estimates for labor and materials
  2. Create pre-qualification documents for client presentations
  3. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to assess project needs
  4. Utilize CADD and various software applications
  5. Calculate estimates for overhead and general expenses
  6. Conduct economic feasibility assessments and initial cost projections for upcoming projects
  7. Evaluate project cash flow and funding requirements
  8. Generate and submit detailed estimate reports, quotes, and bid forms
  9. Provide guidance on bidding processes
  10. Review tenders and suggest award recommendations
  11. Establish cost tracking and reporting mechanisms
  12. Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  13. Collaborate and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding modifications to cost estimates
