About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team at Hyatt Regency Vancouver. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for the provisioning of all food, beverage, and related supplies for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure high-quality products from vendors and suppliers
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of F&B credits
  • Direct the purchases of all areas according to established policies and procedures
  • Oversee storeroom inventory, stocking, and cleaning
  • Work with vendors and Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate payments
Requirements
  • Previous purchasing experience and/or experience working in a Food and Beverage environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Office 2010, Opera)
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy weights
