Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team at Wicker Emporium. As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth in our furniture store.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to make personalized sales recommendations.
- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, and promoting our brand and products through effective merchandising and visual displays.
- Operate cash register, process transactions, and maintain accurate sales records for inventory control.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless customer service and sales operations.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity to provide informed sales advice and recommendations.
- 5 years or more of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture, with a minimum of 45 kg (100 lbs) lifting capacity.
- Availability to work 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
