Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Package and label bakery products for sale, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens, and assisting in production as directed by bakers.
- Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and visually appealing bakery department.
- Assist in setting up products for the following day, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Team player with the ability to work independently, demonstrating a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required.
- Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset, but training is available for the right candidate.
