About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Novy Manufacturing Inc. as a key member of our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machine tools, including CNC machines, to produce high-quality parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, milling machines, and lathes to produce parts and products to close tolerance.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Verify dimensions of parts and products using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Set up and operate machine tools to produce parts and products efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machines, milling machines, and lathes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
