About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ayurvedic Practitioner to join our team at Samya Spa. As an Ayurvedic Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing holistic health services to our clients, including massage therapy, herbal medicine, and other alternative forms of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise patients on the use of herbs for the treatment of conditions
  • Manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands and feet
  • Provide other alternative forms of health care to patients
  • Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
  • Employ other methods of healing such as herbal medicines, biochemical therapy, clinical nutrition, homeopathy and counselling in their treatment
Requirements
  • Pain management experience
  • Herbal medicine knowledge
  • Reflexology skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
