Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by assisting in the retail sales and overall operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions about products and services
- Operate the cash register and carry out day-to-day transactions
- Stock and organize inventory on shelves in the store
- Help maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Perform transactions related to the purchase of vehicles
- Assist with administrative or production tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 30 pounds)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends
