**Job Summary**
Fraser Health is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Project Director - Data Quality Management. This position will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of Minimum Nursing Ratios (mNPR) across the health authority.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the mNPR Project Leadership Team on the implementation plan and delegated functions.
- Mobilize and work together with key internal corporate teams, sites, units, community, and union representatives to ensure successful implementation and assessment of mNPR.
- Identify and communicate risks and barriers to inform actions and mitigation plans as directed.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, human resources, staffing services, finance, operations leaders, union representatives, quality improvement, and learning strategies to build trust, alignment, and partnership.
- Provide effective leadership, expert advice, and problem-solving in the implementation of mNPR across nursing practice areas in Fraser Health.
- Execute priority tasks from the mNPR implementation plan to ensure reporting and monitoring as required.
- Promote mNPR as an attribute of a compassionate quality learning environment.
- Guide and lead assigned areas from the mNPR implementation project team and act as a liaison across nursing practice areas.
- Collaborate with key partners, including union representatives, and services to implement, monitor, report, and evaluate mNPR.
- Provide implementation progress reports, identify barriers and risks, and report findings to the Fraser Health mNPR Project Leadership Team.
- Provide input into the development of required implementation plans, progress, and performance reports as required.
- Facilitate communication and feedback loops within Fraser Health, between nursing practice areas, and the mNPR Project Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with nursing leaders responsible for similar work in other health organizations to enable consistency of implementation and opportunity to share learning.
- Engage nurses, nursing leaders, and union representatives in the continuous improvement of mNPR implementation, workplace culture, and quality of nursing care.
- Identify implementation barriers and risks, propose mitigating solutions, and escalate concerns for problem-solving.
**Requirements**
- Registered Nurse with a master's degree plus ten years recent experience in complex healthcare environments, including five years progressive project and/or change management leadership experience.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate policy, processes, and guidelines.
- Knowledge and understanding of nursing legislation, statutes, regulations, professional standards of practice, and how nursing practice contributes to quality of patient care.
- Competency in project/program planning, implementation, management, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability in analyzing performance and evaluation metrics and translating information (data and metrics) into process and quality improvement.
- Demonstrated understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles and their application in the workplace.
- Ability to manage staff and budgets effectively.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and related technology.
