About the Role:
The Clinical Trials Unit at Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Coordinator to support clinical research trials. As a key member of the Gastrointestinal and Liver Research Group (GILDR), you will be responsible for recruiting participants, training new research staff, and ensuring the accuracy and validity of clinical trial documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and manage participants in clinical research studies
- Develop and deliver training programs for research staff
- Update standard operating procedures and policies
- Ensure quality assurance of clinical trial documentation
- Collect and report clinical trial data
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in a health or science-related field
- Registration with applicable professional association or college (where required)
Working with Us:
As a Research Coordinator, you will be working with research teams to generate and disseminate new knowledge that advances the understanding of health disciplines and medical concerns. You will work under the guidance of the principal investigator to prepare and submit research documents, collect and review information, and monitor study compliance.
