About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Knappett Industries Ltd. 2006. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-operational inspections on equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Pipeline Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction projects.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Site Cleanliness: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Machine Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty and hot conditions.
  • Work Setting: The role will be based in a construction environment, with a focus on site operations and maintenance.
